Milestone Birthday!

First time in a long time that I've joined in with My Time To Craft blog. But the challenge of "Milestone Birthday" fits nicely for me to show my "18th Birthday Card" that I made a few weeks ago. I had fun making this I can tell you! It's just under A4 in size. And yes, I did cut the 18 out. It was pretty tricky to be quite honest. I did kinda cheat tho and printed the numbers straight onto the paper. But the matt and layering was cut by hand. It was actually pretty easy to assemble. I'd definately make another one. Any images can be used, I just opted to use Miss Anya images.

** PICTURE HEAVY POST**

So here's the card :

Image - Miss Anya by The Greeting Farm. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - printed onto card. Embellishments - Gems, Flowers & Leaves, Ribbon. Card Stock - Burgandy, Mint and floral paper. Other - stepper card with cut out "18"

Here's some more pictures of the Card:

Cupcake Craft - Flowers

Hiya Peeps,

Quite a specific challenge this week over at Cupcake Crafts, but a great one for me.

"Now pay attention peeps! Your image needs to include some kind of flower. We will not be accepting entries that simply have floral paper or some flower embellies! ;)"

I got a right bargain on this stamp.. £2.10 including p&p from a lovely seller ;) Really wanted to try it out, so I made my Aunt's birthday card from it. Was a bit long winded cutting all the layers out but worth it in the end. Her favourite colour is green, hence a lot of green! There is no greeting on the card as I didn't want to add one. I wanted to keep the image as the main eye-catcher..

So enough rambling.. here's my card:

Card Ingredients:

Image - Stamp (No idea who it's made by) Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - None. Embellishments - Pearls, Ribbon and Bow. Card Stock -Bottle Green & White card.

Here's a close up of the Image itself :

Totally Tilda - Use Kraft

Better late than never hey! Although, probably would help if I could remember where I put my Kraft card! It was right in the bottom of the drawer... isn't this always the way?!

Was so restless yesterday that in the end I made my card for the Totally Tilda Challenge. Although, when I started, didn't think I'd actually finish it! But I did. Did take some time cutting all the little pieces out tho. Must have some patience.

So here's what I came up with :

Ingredients :

Image - Tilda by Magnolia. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - stamped onto card. Embellishments - Pearls, Butterflies, Flowers & Leaves, Ribbon and Bow. Card Stock - Kraft, Navy and  Gingham Tan Paper. Scallop's & circles are die-cut. Martha Stewart border punch.

Here's a better look at the details :

Anyone for Anya?

Anyone for Anya? I seriously need to buy more of these of stamps. They are brilliant.

Had an order for a "girly, pink, shopping" birthday card... that's pretty much everything I hate! I'm such a tomboy. Give me football, claret & blue/green & white, internet shopping any day of the week! But, saying that, You always find that you like the outcome anyways.

It was a sketch for this weeks challenge. I think I'll be using this sketch again definately. Simple, but you could add details or leave it simple. Either way, it's fab.

Image is from the Miss Anya Collection, you can find these here.

So here is the outcome;

What I used on my card:

Image - Miss Anya Collection by The Greeting Farm. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - pre-printed. Embellishments - Card Candy, Stitched Ribbon, Brads. Card Stock - Pink, Black & Pink Gingham Paper.

Use a Digi...

Fab challenge this week from Crafts & Me ... Use a digi.. I do have stamps, but I do prefer Digi's! And I love this Digi image!

Image is called Cali Girl. She was perfect for this card for an 18th Birthday. Colour scheme is White/Grey/Blue/Silver. Had 3 cards to deo for the same person. So here is just one of them :

Pretty plain and simple but I think it looks classy.

Totally Tilda & Bunting

Well as it says in the title, Totally Tilda & Bunting.. Does exactly what it say's on the tin! LOL

Right then, so the Totally Tilda blog is having a DT call.. with a picture as inspiration. I've used the colours as inspiration, well as near as I could get.

The idea for bunting came when I was sat in my Auntie's last sunday and my cousin was cutting out the shapes. I said "oh, I could put tilda's on each one n put Abigail's name on it. She can put it in her room then" so that's what I have done. Each one represents what Abigail does. She loves football, she always picking flowers or dressing up in pretty dresses.

Took a while to make mind! Here are some close up pictures of the indiviual pieces:

Gymnastic Tilda, Spring Tilda, Tilda with Flowers

Sitting Tilda, Dressed up Tilda

Football Tilda, Heart Apron Tilda

Each piece I've tried to do different and add different detail to it. Think I've managered to pull it off!

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Bunting & Banners

First time I've joined in with the Polka Doodles challenge using one of the digi images. The image I have used, I only downloaded last night! It's such a sweet image tho. She is called "Millie Birthday". The challenge is called "Bunting & Banners". I tried my hardest to get a banner on the card, but it just didn't look right.

But, here is my card :

I coloured the image before I made the card.. big mistake!! I hadn't got the exact teal coloured card that I had coloured the image with but luckily I had some card that was a shade lighter. So chuffed that it complements the other colours! lol. The layout is from the Sketch Saturday Blog As ever, a fab sketch!
Image has been coloured using promarkers... Here's a close up of the image :

Thanks very for popping by.. I'll definately be joining in again!
